A Logo Design Case Study for Capital Elite All Stars, an All-Star Cheerleading Gym in Chatham, Illinois |
|||||
Capital Elite All StarsAn all-star cheerleading gym, Capital Elite All Stars has its roots based in the capital of Illinois, Springfield. The gym offers full competitive cheerleading, pre-school gymnastics and tumbling.
The cheerleading gym's own colors are red, white and navy blue so the client specified that these would be used for their logo design. The client is also looking for a “cutesy” and peppy design since it will make an impact in different forms that would probably used in the future like banners, posters and uniforms. The client has also suggested the use of stars into the eye-catching logo. The client has also expressed interest for another logo for another time for their gym's mobile bus. Our logo experts have also considered this in designing a logo to give our client the option of using the same one for their bus too.
The final output is a burst of energy.
The main point of quick recognition and impact in the logo is the name side by side with a star. Stars of different sizes were arranged in a seemingly-random but perfectly dynamic manner. The word “elite” is larger to give focus and linger on the meaning, which is exactly what the client is looking for as an image. It is both fun and strong and at the same time it exudies a name that would represent as excellence. The navy blue is perfect as a solid background, white is used for the letters and the brilliant surge of red is used sparingly to highlight the name and stars. This is a fun and cute design that in overall look and impact, denotes professionalism and supreme ability.
