A Logo Design Case Study of Nelson County Public Library of Bardstown, Kentucky

Nelson County Public Library

Nelson County Public Library of Bardstown, Kentucky has a collection of over 52,000 books aside from its store of instructional and educational DVDs and audio CDs. It is a small town library that needs a commercial logo that will bind its identity together and establish its name and reputation in a wider circle.

Nelson County Public Library is already a gathering place for many of programs and it intends to put a powerful custom logo in its promotional materials and brochures. Our logo designers have made an identifiable blue icon that will represent them. The final logo design is of a universal human figure reading above the name of the client. Our logo experts aimed for a scholarly look, also opting for a bigger emphasis on the words  “Public Library” for instant identification. The idea is that the public library is a town landmark in itself, putting a logo could only make it more effective as one.
