Located on 10 North Greene Street in Baltimore, MD, Maryland Exercise & Robotics Center of Excellence (MERCE) works on research programs and clinical trials through the University of Maryland & the Baltimore VA Medical Center Hospital. MERCE works with patients of strokes, MS, Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injuries. The center holds health summits for general awareness to enlighten people about the importance of post stroke exercise. The University of Maryland’s School of Medicine is one of the country’s fastest growing research institutions. The Baltimore logo design client was looking for a logo design for their website, brochures and stationary.
About MERCE’s Logo Design:
Our Baltimore logo design client wanted a patriotic logo design with the red, blue and white flag colors. They wanted a professional looking logo. The colors had to be in harmony with VA Medical Center colors that are navy, red & white, while the University of Maryland uses black, red yellow & white. This Baltimore logo design client ordered our Executive package that offers 8 logo concepts, free business cards and custom stationary design. Our award winning designers designed the logos and presented them in combinations of red and blue, red white and blue, red and black, red black and gold. Client chose the red and blue combo and asked us to darken the blue color. The human exercise figure was placed on the left side. After a few changes to the font style and placement the client was ready to finalize the design. This Baltimore logo design client
asked us to increase the size of the tag line to make it bold and impressive.
MERCE is now happy with their new logo design that delivers their commitment to excellence in a very audacious manner.
