Matrix Transport Inc. is a trucking company for hire based in Cicero, Illinois, and they specialize in expedited shipments. Their request for a great logo included a vision for the design to be a highly memorable and recognizable one. The design should be absolutely professional, yet contain a fun and quirky element that would make it a cut above the rest. Our logo teams' concept for this design played on well-remembered forms and  symbols.

The final result was a name -centered design using blue, red and white. The company name “Matrix” is fashioned in a very cool and radical format, looking upbeat in its uneven, slightly unbalanced form. The letters are filled in with jarred white-on-blue, creating a decidedly unique pattern. For a seamless design, the letters are also highlighted in red. The “X” is larger than the rest, subtly symbolizing for that X-factor the company has. Fading red lines denote speed and quick delivery, an image the company is trying to convey for its services.

Overall, the custom logo is an excellent attention-stealer, definitely appealing to the younger generation and at the very least attracting interest of the older ones. Its fresh, quick-paced character makes it a valuable asset in gaining customers.
