A Logo Design Case Study for Dhana, a Gift Shop in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida

Dhana

In Buddhist Sanskrit language, the word “dhana” means “treasures”. The name the company chose for themselves is appropriate; their unique gift items are considered joyful and priceless by their customers. It is just natural to select and design a business logo that would fit this spirit and contain that oriental connection.

The name logo above a lily pad and lotus leaf is an original vision of our client's. Our team of logo designers have worked to create the perfect balance, form, and shading of colors to give a fresh and vibrant look in the logo. The client was also specific in gaining that Asian vibe without using oriental-looking letters. The business logo achieved exactly what our team and client is looking for; the Asian sense is perceived as a general look in the logo and it did not use specific symbols or motifs. The use of near pastel pink and green lends a delicate and precious face to the logo, befitting the items and gifts it holds.

The logo appeals to any customer of all nationality and speaks of a fun and lighthearted outlook in business and in life. Our logo team designers have also designed a black and white version of this logo and it still maintains the memorable appeal and vigor of the colored version.
