About a short walk from downtown Boston, BSR has a solid granite graving dock where it dry docks vessels. Boston Ship Repair has more than a decade of ship repairing experience. They are uniquely qualified to service vessels that operate on the East Coast. BSR has an 18 acre facility equipped with two mobile gantry cranes. They dry docked seven 990 feet+ vessels last year. Most ships come in for overhauls, bearing repairs, steel repairs, painting, shaft removal and thruster repairs. They also dry dock cruise ships including Norwegian Cruise Lines “Majesty“ and “Crown”.
About BSR's Logo Design:
This Boston logo design client wanted to use a propeller and a ship in their logo design. They ordered our Basic package with 4 design concepts and three revisions. The Boston logo design client required a modern and a masculine logo design for their website, printed matter, and embroidery. They gave us two image files with ships so we can get a design idea, and asked us to use black, gold & royal blue in their logo design. As per clients wish, our designers built drafts with a propeller in the choice colors.
Client liked our draft # 2 with a picture of the hull of ship. Boston logo design client preferred a tanker or container ship. Our designers placed the company name in bold uppercase letters right below the ship. In the back ground, the yellow circle as if a sun setting; reflected mobility.
BSR was pleased with the domineering impact of the logo and we are sure it will help them in their marketing.
