How it works

How does LogoDesignGuru.com work? It’s easy!

Do you need a logo? A monogram? A t-shirt? A business card? A website?
Choose your project type, the click on the “Get Started” button.

LogoDesignGuru.com also offers “Small Biz Packages” which can save you time and money. If you need to run several contests to design items for your business, such as a logo, stationery, and a website design, you will only pay the listing fees and upgrades once!

Step 2: Name Your Price
You decide what you will pay for your finished design! Your prize can start at $199, depending on the project.
Remember - the larger you set your prize, the more designs you will receive.

There is a listing and prize handling fee (20% of the prize amount) for LogoDesignGuru.com to run your contest, and you can choose from a menu of premium services to feature your contest, expedite it, and guarantee it. Contests are generally 7 days, however you can extend or expedite the contest, depending on your needs.

When you have finished, click “Fill Creative Brief” to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Fill Out Your Creative Brief

This is your chance to tell thousands of designers what you need. Our graphic designers will use your creative brief as a guide.

Over-communicating is better than not sharing enough detail. Make sure you clearly explain what your business does, what makes you unique, and where you intend to use your design.

Our creative brief asks a series of questions to gather all of the information our designer community will needs to come up with creative designs for you. Feel free to include URLs for your website or other websites you want to use as inspiration.

When you have finished, click on “Confirm Brief”.
After you confirm and fill out your payment information, your project is live!

Step 4: Give Feedback to the Designers

Designers from around the world will submit design concepts to your project and compete for your prize.

Your job is to:

• Invite designers you like to participate in your project
• Rate the designs using the stars – (1 star = “not great”, 3 stars = “on the right track”, and 5 stars = “Top finalist”)
• Give feedback in the comments section at the bottom of the project page
• Answer designer private messages

The more you communicate with the designers, the better your contest will be.
If you change your mind about what you are looking for, use the comment section at the bottom of the page to make those changes so all designers will know about it.

Step 5: Choose the Best Design

Once the design contest is over (typically after 7 days, longer if you extend it), you have another 7 days to choose the winning design. The winning designer will send their artwork source files to LogoDesignGuru.com, and release the trademark rights to you.

We will send all of the files and the rights to get a trademark for your design to you, and then transfer your contest reward to the winning designer.

Now What?

The winning design is yours! Here are some other services we can help you with:
