Court logos are probably one of the easiest logos to design. It does not carry the demand of utilizing heavy colors, heavy text or images. It’s usually just based on two to three objects. Either a balance scale or a court hammer should be enough to represent these logos. Because no other objects can have a direct connection with a court; hence there is not much utilization of images. It can be said that logo designers are happiest when they get court logos as they do not have to exhaust their creativity vault.

A court is a serious, high level entity; hence very sober colors are required. A logo designer when assigned with such a project should consider the use of very basic colors such as gray, black, dark blue and in some rare cases brown. Do not use other bold colors to represent a high level dignitary entity.

Balance scale is probably the most common object that is associated with a court. This is why logo designers often use balance scales, albeit with variations in its designs for all court logos. Sometimes designers also use the court hammer as an image for a court logo design. The images used are sometimes encircled with the court name.
Type of Text Used for Court Logo Design
While designing court logos, there is no actual need to use any kind of tagline or slogan. Just the name of a particular court is enough. The font should be bold, albeit small in size and looks best if bended in an upper arc.
